Student-Athlete Graduates Honoured

Friday, February 14th saw the Niagara College department of athletics & recreation host the first annual Niagara College winter sports Knights Grad Night. The event took place prior to tip-off for the 6:00pm women’s basketball game, and saw 11 graduating student-athletes presented with personalized gifts in recognition of their strong performance in the classroom.

With the entire Niagara College Knights community on hand, including members of all six varsity programs, staff, alumni, students, and family members, graduating members of the men’s volleyball, women’s volleyball and women’s basketball programs  were presented with framed action photos from the 2013-14 season.

After the event, Niagara College director of athletics & recreation Matthew Davies commented “tonight was a great night for our graduating student-athletes. These 11 individuals have had a strong academic year, and this event is a tradition we look forward to building upon for years to come.”
