NEWS: Koslowski and Williamson named OCAA First-Team All-Stars

Thursday, February 22nd saw Niagara Knights volleyball standouts Jordan Koslowski (Hamilton) and Jake Williamson (St. Catharines) named OCAA first-team all-stars at the annual men's and women's volleyball awards banquets hosted by Centennial and Georgian College respectively. This marks the second consecutive first team selection for Koslowski, while Williamson earns the accolade for the first time.

The five-foot-ten Koslowski enjoyed another outstanding season for the Knights. The former Sherwood secondary school standout finished among the OCAA leaders in virtually every offensive category. From the outside hitter position Koslowski finished with an average of 3.6 points-per-set, while leading the West Division in total scoring, with 236 total points.

Williamson, a six-foot-four middle blocker out of Eden in St. Catharines enjoyed a breakout season for the Knights. Playing in just his second season, Williamson finished with 180 total points. He averaged better than 2.7 points-per-set and was a key factor in helping the Knights return to the OCAA Championship tournament.

Both the men's and women's volleyball program open the OCAA Championship on Thursday, February 22nd. The women face the Fanshawe Falcons, while the men square off with the Georgian Grizzlies.
