PREVIEW: Knights eye 2-0 start in matchup against Eagles

The Niagara Knights men's basketball program looks to extend their winning streak to two when they travel to Mississauga Wednesday, October 25th to square off against the University of Toronto Mississauga Eagles. Wednesday night's game will be special for the UTM Eagles, who are hosting their first ever regular season home game as a member of the west division in the OCAA men's basketball league.

In their first ever game in the OCAA, the Eagles fell to the Lambton Lions 84-43. The Eagles will look to rebound from their loss to the Lions with a strong performance Wednesday night in front of their hometown fans. The Knights must be ready to battle hard on the court for their first win on the road.

In Friday's win over Mohawk, the Knights had solid offensive performances from Levi Mukuna (Hamilton, Ont.), Van Hutchison Jr. (Nassau, Bahamas), Jordan McDonald (Mississauga, Ont.) and Deysean Thompson (Orangeville, Ont.); all of which had 13+ point contributions. The Knights will continue to rely on a balanced attack if they hope to make waves in the OCAA west division this year.

Tip-off for Wednesday night's west division matchup is set for 8pm.
