PREVIEW: Knights to host visiting Condors

The Niagara Knights men's basketball program (9-4, 3rd OCAA West) will look to rebound from their loss against Redeemer when they host the visiting Conestoga Condors (3-10, 9th OCAA West) at the Welland Campus Athletic Centre Wednesday, January 24th. Niagara is entering the game Wednesday night looking for the season sweep of the Condors after defeating the program November 22nd 90-58.

After strong performances in last week's games against Mohawk and Redeemer, The Knights will look to their 3rd year guard Van Hutchinson Jr. to help them get back into the win column. The 6'4 native of Nassau, Bahamas has been outstanding for the Knights since coming back from the midseason break, averaging 21.6 points and 12 rebounds.

If the Knights hope to find success against the Condors, they must find a way to shutdown 1st year guard's Shequell Gilgeous-Glasgow (Kitchener, Ont.) and Sydney Kabongo (Toronto, Ont.). The duo are having outstanding rookie seasons for the Condors, averaging 16.3 and 14.8 points respectively.

Tip-off for Wednesday night's game is scheduled for 8pm.
