PREVIEW: Knights look for victory with first ever matchup against Conestoga

The Niagara Knights men's basketball program (4-2, 4th OCAA West) will look to rebound from their loss against Redeemer when they travel to Kitchener Wednesday, November 22nd to square off against the Conestoga Condors (2-6, 9th OCAA West). The match Wednesday night will mark the first time these two programs will square as members of the OCAA west division.

After a 24 year hiatus, the Conestoga Condors are back in the OCAA for the first time since the 1992-93 season. After 4 consecutive losses, the Condors are looking to rebound with a strong performance at home against Niagara Wednesday night.

If the Knights hope to be successful against the Condors, they must find a way to shut down the duo of Shequell Gilgeous-Glasgow (Kitchener, Ont.) and Sydney Abedi (Kitchener, Ont.), both of which are averaging 15+ points per game.

The Knights have well rounded this season offensively with four players averaging 10+ points per game. If the Knights can continue to find scoring from different players on their roster, there is a good chance the Knights come out of Kitchener Wednesday Knight with a victory.

Tip off for Wednesday's west divisional matchup is scheduled for 8pm.
