Knights Men's Soccer to Face Mohawk

Knights Men's Soccer to Face Mohawk

Riding a three game unbeaten streak, the Niagara College Men's Soccer program (1-1-2) will visit the Mohawk (2-2 ) Mountaineers on Wednesday night. The Knights currently sit just one point behind the Mountaineers for fourth place in the highly competitive OCAA West Division.

The game will feature a classic matchup of styles. The high scoring Mountaineers have recorded the second most goals in the West Division, while the Knights defense is currently allowing just one goal per match.

The Knights will look for the continued strong play of first year goalkeeper Jordan Provenzano. Offensively the team has been led by the forward pairing of Austin MacDonell and Carlos Williams. Current Niagara College athlete of the week Jordi Amores provided the Knights lone goal during a September 22nd draw versus the St. Clair Saints.

Kickoff is set for 6:30pm at the Redeemer Sports complex.
