Preview: Men’s Soccer look to rebound in home debut

The Niagara Knights Men's Soccer program looks to rebound after losing their season opener to the Fanshawe Falcons in a game separated by just a single goal. The Knights are looking to get their first win of the season at home when the visiting Mohawk College Mountaineers come to town on Wednesday night.

After being named Male Athlete of the Week, the Knights second year midfielder Tyler Stranges will be looking to build on his successful season opener by turning in another impressive performance.

After a two-year hiatus from the team, third year striker Carlos Williams looks to build on his previous successes including 9 goals in 14 games played. Williams did not get on the scoresheet in the season opener, but his presence on the pitch provides the Knights with many opportunities to finish.

Wednesday marks the first home game of the season for Niagara, and the team is ready to put on a strong performance at the Young SportsPlex on Wednesday, September 13th at 6pm in front of a hometown crowd hungry for some Knight's soccer.
