PREVIEW: Knights look to clinch second in the west with win against Redeemer

The Niagara Knights (5-2-2, 2nd OCAA West) will take on the Redeemer Royals (4-3-2, 4th OCAA West) Wednesday, October 18th in each program's last regular season matchup. With a win against the Royals, the Knights will clinch 2nd place in the OCAA west division. However, a win Wednesday night won't come easy for the Knights, who are playing a Royals' program undefeated in their last four games (3 wins, 1 tie).

The last time the Knights and the Royals faced off against one another, the game ended in a commanding 5-1 win for the Knights, who had 3rd year striker Carlos Williams (St. Catharines, Ont.) break the Niagara all-time scoring record notching his 11th and 12th goals of his career. Williams is currently leading the team with 6 goals, two of which were scored last game against the St. Clair Saints (5-2-2, 3rd OCCA West). The Knights will lean on their leading goal-scorer to continue to create offensive magic during tomorrow night's key division matchup against the Royals.

Kickoff for Wednesday night's matchup is 6pm at Youngs Sportsplex in Welland.
