PREVIEW: Marquee outside hitter match up in Knights/Falcons men's volleyball

It is crunch time for the Niagara Knights men's volleyball program. The Knights sit in fifth place in the tight OCAA West Division with a record of 8-6. The team has four games remaining all against playoff caliber opponents. Up first, the team will face the CCAA's top-ranked Fanshawe Falcons on Thursday, February 2nd.

The match will see two of the top outside hitters in the OCAA square off in Fanshawe's James Jackson and Niagara's Jeff Scott. Jackson and Scott sit second and third respectively in the OCAA West Division in points-per-set, and the two will be leaned on heavily in their team's offensive attacks.

The Falcons enter the match riding an eight-game winning streak, while the Knights are coming off their strongest performance in 2017, a 3-1 road victory over Conestoga.

Tickets are free for all students and community members under the age of 18, otherwise admission costs $5.00. For those unable to be in attendance the game will be live streamed at www.goknights.ca
