Thursday, February 2nd was a tough night at the office for the Niagara Knights men's volleyball program, as the team ran into the CCAA's top-ranked Fanshawe Falcons. The Falcons defeated the Knights in three sets, 15-15, 25-9, 25-22.
The win drops the Knights to 8-7 on the season and into a tie for the sixth and final playoff spot in the highly competitive OCAA West Division.
Veteran outside hitter Logan Varga (Brantford) paced the Knights finishing with nine points on five kills, three blocks, and an ace.
Niagara will face a short turnaround as the will visit the 12-2 Mohawk Mountaineers on February 4th.
