PREVIEW: Knights look for 3rd straight victory in matchup agianst Humber

The Niagara Knights men's volleyball program looks to improve their winning to three when they host the Humber hawks tonight at the Welland Campus Athletic Centre. The Knights currently sit at 5th place in the ultra competitive OCAA west division with a season record of 6-4.

This is the second meeting between the two programs this season, as the first meeting resulted in a 3-1 home victory for the Hawks. As a result, the Knights will be entering tonight's matchup hungry for revenge.

If the Knights hope to ground the hawks, they must find a way to shutdown Humber's outside hitter Dylan Deverceri. The first year from Rome, Italy has been impressive for the Hawks this season, averaging 4 points per set.

After impressive defensive performances against Conestoga and Sheridan, the Knights will rely on their first year libero Robert Zalewski (Ingersoll, Ont) for another strong performance against the Hawks. Zalewski has played a major defensive role in the last two victories for the Knights, and will surely play a major part of their success heading into the second half of the season.

Tip-off for tonight's game is scheduled for 8pm.
