RECAP: Knights improve to 9-7 with 3-0 victory over Cambrian

Saturday, February 3rd the Niagara Knights men's volleyball program finish their weekend series with a 3-0 victory over the Cambrian Golden Shield (2-14, 9th OCAA West). The victory improves the Knights to 9-7 on the season, slotting them into 4th spot in the OCAA West Division. The set scores of the match were 25-23, 25-16, and 25-20.

After closing out a competitive first set, the Knights would find their offensive rhythm and handily take the second and third sets for the match victory.

Knights' 2nd year middle blocker Jake Williamson (St. Catharines, Ont.) was an offensive menace in the victory over Cambrian, accumulating 18 kills over a mere 3 sets. Niagara's 4th year setter Ben Fillmore also did an impressive job controlling the Knights' offence, collecting 29 assists in the winning effort.

The Knights are back in action Wednesday, February 7th when they host the OCAA West division leading Fanshawe Falcons (15-0, 1st, OCAA West) at the Welland Campus Athletic Centre.
