RECAP: Knights fall to Bruins; Look to rebound against Redeemer

Saturday, November 25th saw the Niagara Knights men's volleyball program fall to 4-3 on the season after being defeated by the visiting Sheridan Bruins 3-0. The set scores in the contest were 25-23, 25-21, 25-23.

The Knights battled hard throughout the game, keeping themselves in position to win each set. Unfortunately for the Knights, their unforced errors through each set ultimately cost them two points Saturday afternoon.

"Tonight was a tough game" said Knights' head coach Nathan Groenveld. "Our young group competed hard, but a few tough points, and a talented Sheridan side proved to be the difference. We will learn from tonight and come together as a team in preparing for our next game against Redeemer."

Pacing the Knights offensively were middle blocker Jacob Williamson and (St. Catharines, Ont.) and outside hitter Jaydon Milne who led the Knights with 7 kills respectively.

The Knights will look to rebound from this loss when they host the Redeemer Royals Thursday, November 30th at the Welland Campus Athletic Centre.
