PREVIEW: Knights look to play spoiler in Eagles' OCAA home debut

The Niagara Knights women's basketball program looks for their first win of the season when they travel to Mississauga Wednesday, October 25th to battle against the University of Toronto Mississauga Eagles. Wednesday night's game will be special for the UTM Eagles, who are hosting their first regular season home as a member of the west division in the OCAA women's basketball league.

In their first ever game in the OCAA, the Eagles mustered up a 77-54 victory over the Lambton Lions. The Eagles will be determined to get their first ever win at home, as well as increase their winning streak to 2, therefore the Knights must be prepared to not take this program lightly.

The Knight must look to veteran players Courtney Kilyk (Fonthill, Ont.) and Mary Ingribelli (St. Catharines) for strong showings after solid offensive performances in their program's season opening loss to Mohawk. Ingribelli finished with a game high 23 points, while Kilyk started her career as a Knight with a double- double (22 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals). The Knights will need these players to play well wednesday night if they hope for a victory on the road.

Tip-off for Wednesday night's west division matchup is set for 6pm.
