PREVIEW: Knights look for their 3rd straight victory in matchup against Royals

The Niagara Knights women's basketball program (3-2, 4th OCAA West) will look for their 3rd consecutive win when they travel to Hamilton, Ontario Wednesday, November 15th to face off against the Redeemer Royals (2-3, 7th OCAA West). The Knights swept the 2016-17 season matchups against Redeemer with a 77-53 victory at home, as well as an 87-69 victory on the road.

After a strong performance in the victory over Lambton, the Knights will look to their second year forward Tianna Stys (St. Catharines, Ont.) to help the offence once again in their chase for their 4th victory of the season. The Holy Cross graduate led the Knights in both points (16) and rebounds (13) for her first double-double of the 2017-18 season.

If the Knights hope to earn their 4th victory of the season, they will need to shut down the Royals' duo of forward Jessica Bosma (Binbrook, Ont.) and guard Shania Graham (St. John, NB). The two Royals have been the core of this Redeemer offence, averaging 17.6 points and 15.8 points respectively. The Knights will look to their dynamic duo of Courtney Kilyk (Fonthill, Ont.) and Mary Ingribelli (St. Catharines, Ont.) to shut down these players if they hope to be successful Wednesday night.

Tip-off for Wednesday night's west divisional matchup is scheduled for 6pm.
