Women's Volleyball

The Niagara College women's volleyball (3-0, 3rd West) program will be putting their undefeated record on the line, as they host two regular season games this weekend at the Welland Campus Athletic Centre.

Saturday, November 15th has the Knights hosting Cambrian College (1-3, 7th West).  The game will start at 6:00pm. 

When these two programs played last season, Niagara swept the series 3-1 3-1.  Third year Event Management major Kayde Bailey (Burlington, ON) led the Knights with a 36 points in the two matches.

Cambrian College is coming off a 3-1 loss to the St. Clair Saints (4-1, 2nd West).  Kelsey Watson led the Golden Shield with 17 points in the loss.

Boreal College (0-4, 10th West) is on tap for Sunday, November 16th in game two of the back to back for the Knights.  The game will start at 1:00pm at the Welland Campus Athletic Centre.

The Knights won both matches last year, winning in straight sets 3-0 3-0.  Second year outside hitter Madison Morgan (Whitby, ON) led the Knights with 26 points in the two contests.

Boreal College is coming off a 3-0 loss to St. Clair as well.  Veronica Brisson led her team with 11 points in the loss.

With a win over Redeemer College (3-2, 5th West) last week, the Knights are currently ranked 14thin the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association.

Player Watch:

 #10 Linnea Davis (Niagara): The reigning Niagara College athlete of the week came up big for the Knights last week in the five set win over Redeemer.  Look for Davis to continue her big play if Niagara wants to sweep the back to back this weekend.

#15 Sara Charlton (Cambrian): Ranked 29th in the OCAA with 2.7 points per set.

#4 Valerie Boileau (Boreal): Ranked 24th in the OCAA with 3.08 assists per set.
