RECAP: Knights move to 4-0 with sweep over Redeemer

The Niagara Knights women's volleyball team (4-0, 1st OCAA West) improved upon their perfect record with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-21) three set victory over the Redeemer Royals (2-2, 4th OCAA West) on Friday night.

The Knights made quick work of the Royals, earning their second sweep of the season. Brooklyn Hamilton (Valleyview, AB) led the way for the Knights with 15 points by way of nine kills, five blocks, and a service ace. Jordan Koslowski (Hamilton) also reached double digits with nine kills and five services. Bailey Davis (Georgetown) set a wonderful game, recording 24 assists in just three sets of action, while also adding a blistering six service aces.

This victory marks the second time in three seasons in which the KNights have started a season 4-0. Niagara began the 2014-15 season rattling off six straight victories to kick off the regular season en route to a OCAA bronze medal.

Niagara will hit the court next on Thursday, November 17th when they welcome the Conestoga Condors (0-4, 9th OCAA West) to the Welland Campus Athletic Centre. Opening serve is set for 6pm. Tickets for all home games can be purchased at the door for $5.00 while students and those under the age of 17 are admitted free.
