PREVIEW: Knights look for their 5th win of the season against Bruins

The Niagara Knights women's volleyball program (4-2, 4th OCAA West) will look to rebound from their loss against the Humber Hawks when they host the Sheridan Bruins (2-3, 7th OCAA West) at the Welland Campus Athletic Centre Saturday, November 25th. Last year's season series between the two west divisional programs was swept by the Knights 2-0, with a 3-1 victory on the road and a 3-2 at home.

If the Knights hope to be successful Saturday afternoon, the program must find way to shut down Bruins' star middle blocker Taylor Ley (Orillia, Ont.), who currently sits at 8th in the OCAA with 3.5 points per set. The Knights have to be aggressive on the net and take away easy chances to attack, and that starts with sound defense.

After their loss to the Hawks, the Knights will rely on their star outside hitters Rachel Rivers (Cambridge, Ont.) and Jordan Koslowski (Hamilton, Ont.) to lead their program to victory. The two Knights currently sit at 4.1 points per set and 3.2 points per set, good enough for 3rd and 14th best in the OCAA.

Tip off for the key west divisional matchup is scheduled for 1pm.
