RECAP: Knights improve to 9-6 with 3-1 victory over Vipers

Friday, February 2nd saw the Niagara Knights women's volleyball program defeat the visiting Boreal Vipers (0-15, 10th OCAA West) 3-1. The Victory puts the Knights at 9-6 on the season, slotting them at 4th spot in the OCAA West division. The set scores were 25-11, 21-25, 25-8, 25-10.

Other than losing the second set, the Knights looked dominant in their victory over Boreal, winning the first, third and fourth sets with ease.

Leading the Knights' offense was 3rd year outside hitter Jordan Koslowski (Hamilton, Ont.) who finish Friday night with a match-high 12 kills. The Knights also had strong offensive showings from 1st outside hitters Nicole Pirillo (Thorold, Ont.) and Zeniah Pinnick (Toronto, Ont.) who contributed 11 kills and 10 kills respectively.

Niagara looks for the weekend sweep when they host the visiting Cambrian Golden Shield (5-9, 7th OCAA West) at the Welland Campus Athletics Centre tomorrow at 1pm.
