PREVIEW: No. 8 ranked Knights head to Sheridan aiming for fourth straight victory

The OCAA's eighth ranked Niagara Knights women's volleyball program (4-2, 5th OCAA West) will travel to take on the Sheridan Bruins this upcoming Sunday. After putting together a three-game win streak on their three-game home stand, the Knights will look to make it four straight against Sheridan.

The Sheridan Bruins enter the matchup with a record of 4-2, currently sitting in fourth place directly above the Knights in the OCAA West standings. The Knights are 1-1 on the road while the Bruins have a 2-1 record inside of their own gymnasium.

Since 1996 the Knights and the Bruins have matched up 28 times. The Knights have the advantage in between the two teams, having won 20 of those matches. They couldn't get the job done a year ago though when they visited Sheridan as they dropped a close match in five sets.

Jordan Koslowski (Hamilton) is currently on pace to beat the Niagara Knights single season kills record, which she set two seasons ago with 203. This year she has 70 kills through six matches which puts her on pace for 210.

The Knights record of 4-2 matches exactly where they were a season ago heading into the seventh regular season match, where they also coincidentally played the Sheridan Bruins. The Knights ended up finishing the remainder of the season with a 7-5 record but made a run in the OCAA Championship and finished with a Silver Medal.

The Niagara Knights take on the Sheridan Bruins in an away matchup on Sunday, November 25th at 1pm. The game will be broadcast online here.
