"Tonight we ran into a really skilled and physical Humber Hawks volleyball team," said head coach Steve Dow.

"Their experience and confidence showed throughout the match. They were unfazed whether we were up or down, they just kept coming at us. Tonight was a great learning opportunity for us. We learned that we can play with some of the best teams in the province. Our job as a coaching staff is to continue to get our girls the confidence to do it for longer stretches of time. We were led by second-year outside Anica Haberstock who had her best game of the year so far. we will refocus and be ready to play Conestoga on Saturday."

The Knights will regroup and prepare for their home opening match against Conestoga Saturday afternoon at 1:00 P.M.

Saturday's home opener will also play host to the College's alumni event, that will welcome back former Knights for ReuKnighted, the first alumni reunion of its kind at Niagara College.
