Mark Nelson

Mark Nelson, a native of Niagara Falls, is one of Niagara College's all-time great student-athletes.

He began his exceptional four-year collegiate career in 1983. He and teammate Tom Peat were the first Niagara Athletes to win three consecutive National Badminton titles from 1984-87.

Among Mark's other accomplishments were four OCAA and West Regional titles from 1983-87, three Co-Athlete of the Year Awards from 1984-86, three All-Canadian selections from 1985-87, OCAA Athlete of the week, Niagara College Award of Excellence, Western Ontario Men's Doubles Champion, Eastern U.S.A. Singles and Men's Doubles Champion, OFSSA Men's Doubles Champion, two OCAA West Regional Tennis titles. He was inducted into the Niagara Falls Wall of Fame in 1990.
