James Voisin

James Voisin formerly of Welland, Ontario now a resident of Brush Prairie, Washington, spent two of his three years at Niagara College with the Niagara Knights Hockey team.

He captained the squad to its first ever league and playoff International Collegiate Hockey League Championships in 1980-1981. Additionally, he was the league's leading point setter and selected as the ICHL Second Team All Star forward for that season.

For his leadership and multiple achievements, James was bestowed with Niagara's esteemed Athlete of the Year Award for 1980-1981.. Mr. Voisin's most memorable moment was scoring a short handed goal during the final moments of the playoff game to seal the Knights ICHL championship.

In conjunction with his athletic achievements, James was awarded the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence in 1981. He graduated from the Electrical Engineering Technician program with two diplomas.
