Jerry Campigotto 

Jerry Campigotto formerly of Niagara Falls, Ontario and currently living in Kitchener, Ontario, was a member of Niagara College's Men's Basketball Team during its inaugural year in 1967-68. In his first year, Jerry was appointed team captain and maintained this distinction for the three years he played at Niagara.

Jerry exhibited quality leadership and led his team to a second place finish with a 7-3 record in 1968-69, qualifying as the wildcard team for the OCAA playoffs. A talented shooting guard, Jerry achieved the honour of being the top scorer on the team for all three years. The OCAA selected Jerry as a Second Team All-Star for the 1968-69 season.

During 1967-68 Jerry was the single game high scorer with 36 and 44 points against Seneca and Conestoga Colleges, respectively. An excellent ball handler, Jerry was also known for his continuous hustle and consistency. He was a stabilizing force, maintaining composure and control both on and off the court. Jerry graduated from the Business Administration Program, Data Processing and was highly respected by students and faculty. Jerry was appointed to the Data Processing Advisory Committee in the mid-1970's, serving the college for a number of years in this capacity.
