Carrie Stratford-Collver

Carrie Stratford of Delhi, Ontario was an individual who exemplified what a student-athlete aspires to be. She excelled both on and off the court, and competed for three seasons as a member of the Niagara College Women’s Basketball Program. She possessed an all-around game and could score from anywhere on the court. In her first and third seasons with the Knights, Carrie finished eighth and seventh overall in OCAA scoring, and led her team in all offensive categories. In her three years at Niagara College, Carrie accumulated 500 total points and averaged 15.5 points per game. She also helped lead the Knights to an OCAA championship Silver Medal in 2003. Carrie’s personal awards and accolades include an OCAA Second-Team All-Star, OCAA Championship All-Star, a three-time OCAA All-Academic selection, CCAA Academic All-Canadian selection, a Niagara College Rookie of the Year Award, and the Niagara College Athlete of Distinction Award. Carrie is a graduate of the Niagara College General Arts and Science Program.
