Men's Soccer

After a one year hiatus, Frank DeChellis of Welland, Ont., returned to the Niagara College coaching staff in 2012 and became the Head Coach of the Niagara College Knights Men's Soccer team, after coaching the Knights Women's Outdoor and Indoor Soccer teams in 2009 and 2010.

In the summer of 2009, Coach DeChellis successfully completed the Canadian Soccer Association ‘A’ License Program. The ‘A’ License is the highest coaching level attainable in Canada. He is also a Master Learning Facilitator with the Coach Education Department of Ontario Soccer.

In 2018, Coach DeChellis led the Knights to their highest win total in program history, while also leading the team to their fourth consecutive OCAA postseason appearance.

With over 30 years of coaching experience, Coach DeChellis brings an exuberance to the Knights program. "My mission with the program is that it positively represents the college, enhances the college experience for each student-athlete, and that each player feels they are contributing to the team's progress," he stated. 

In addition to his experience with the Knights, Dechellis was a former player with the Mohawk Mountaineers from 1984-86, caputing an OCAA Silver Medal during the '86 season.
