Gerry D'Angelo became the men's and women's goalkeeper coach in 2012.
D'Angelo has received two coaching diplomas from the Ontario Soccer Association for goalkeeping and senior coaching. He incorporates a “Learning by Teaching” model by having Knights goalkeepers work with young keepers at the Welland Soccer Club
Before he became a coach, D'Angelo for St. Catharines Roma when the National Soccer League was Canada's highest level of play. He also competed for the under 23 Club Roma team, Thorold Italo-Canadians Inter-City club, and the Welland Premier Men's team.
