Donald Nadeau of Niagara Falls, Ontario quickly distinguished himself as one of the best goaltenders in the history of the Niagara College Knights Men's Hockey program.
Donald helped backstop the Knights to their first ever league and playoff championships of the International Collegiate Hockey League in 1980-81.
His accomplishments did not go unnoticed as he was named Niagara's Freshman Athlete of the Year, ICHL playoffs MVP and First Team All Star.
In his second year, Donald was once again recognized for his excellent goaltending. He was named Second Team All-Star and received Niagara's Athlete of Distinction Award. Winning the first ever hockey championship for Niagara College and being named MVP of the playoffs were his most memorable moments while a member of the Knights hockey program. Donald graduated from the General Arts and Science program in June 1982.
