The Niagara College women's soccer program (1-2-1) will look to improve their record to .500 on Wednesday night when they visit the Mohawk Mountaineers (2-2). The Knights are coming off a 1-1 draw versus the St. Clair Saints on Sunday, September 22nd.
Knights' head coach Frank DeChellis felt his team underperformed in their last match, and the team will be looking for a much improved performance versus the third place Mountaineers.
All season the Knights have received strong play in goal from second-year keeper Melanie Bajic. First-year midfielder Rachel Wachner recorded her first Niagara College Athlete of the Week award for her performance during Sunday's 1-1 draw with St. Clair.
The Knights currently sit in a tie for the sixth and final playoff spot in the OCAA West Division.
Kickoff for the match against Mohawk is set for 4:30pm at the Redeemer Sports Complex
