February 12, 2023...SUDBURY - The Niagara Knights women's volleyball team capped off their regular season with two wins on the road this weekend in Sudbury.

The Knights squared off against the Cambrian Golden Shield Saturday night in a five-set thriller that saw the Knights take the opening set 25-21 before Cambrian came back to steal sets two and three 28-30 and 23-25 to take the 2-1 lead. Niagara was able to put the Golden Shield away in set three 25-23, and again 25-8 in set four to take the 3-2 win.

Niagara looked to carry their winning momentum into Sunday's match-up with Boreal. The Vipers remained winless coming into Sunday's game at 0-17. The Knights made quick work of the Vipers in a thumping three sets - 25-18, 25-27, 25-16 - to get the 3-0 win and finish off the weekend and the season on a high note.

The Knights finished with an 11-7 record to put them fourth in the OCAA West Division, which means they will head to George Brown for their OCAA qualifier game to determine who heads to the OCAA Championship at Sheridan College February 22-25th.
