February 25, 2023...WELLAND, ONT - The Niagara College Men's Basketball team is headed to the OCAA Championship after defeating the Loyalist Lancers 86-47 in their cross-over playoff match Saturday afternoon at the Welland Campus Athletic Centre.

The Knights  stole the game in the second quarter outscoring the Lancers 24-13 behind 61% field goal shooting to lead 38-29 going into the half time break.

The Knights did not take their foot off the gas after the break hitting five threes and executing excellent defence to hold the Lancers to only six points and two made shot attempts in the quarter and take a commanding 30-point lead 65-35 going into the final quarter. The fourth was much of the same as the Knights poured 21 more points in to walk away with an 86-47 victory.
