Jordi Amores (Niagara Falls) was the hero of the day for Niagara, scoring both of the goals to defeat the St. Clair Saints 2-1 in the quarterfinal this afternoon.

PLAYOFF PREVIEW: Knights battle Golden Shield in OCAA playoff crossoverOctober 20, 2016When the dust settled in the OCAA Central, the Niagara Knights men's soccer program (3-5-2, 4th OCAA Central) advanced to the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season. They will now travel to Sudbury to take on the Cambrian Golden Shield (6-3-1, 2nd OCAA East) in the opening round of the OCAA playoffs. In each of the past three appearances the Knights have won their opening matchup before falling at the OCAA Championship.
