Dec 4th, 2022 - For the first time since October 30th, the Niagara Knights women's volleyball team dropped a 1-3 decision to the St. Clair Saints Saturday afternoon in Windsor. The set scores were 25-17, 20-25,13-25, and 23-25.
The Knights were undefeated for the month of November going 6-0 before meeting the Saints in their final game before Christmas break. With the loss, Niagara drops to 6-3 on the season while St. Clair moves ahead to 7-3.
Natasha Desjardins led the Knights with 13 kills, while Madelyn Berg recorded 25 digs to hit a career milestone, surpassing 600 career digs in four seasons with the Knights. Berg has recorded 111 so far this season.
The Knights will enjoy a few weeks off for the Christmas holiday and hit the court again January 12th when they host the Conestoga Condors (7-2).
