Lorelle Weavers

Lorelle Weavers was a member of the Knights golf team from 2014-2017. During her time with the Knights, Lorelle paved the way for women’s golf at Niagara College, capturing a number of career milestones.

In her first season on the course with the Knights, Lorelle captured Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) silver and was named to the OCAA All-Ontario team. Lorelle went on to compete in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) National Championships, where she emerged as the gold medal national champion for 2014. That year, Lorelle was also named an OCAA All-Academic, CCAA All-Canadian, and CCAA Academic All-Canadian. She also earned top honours at the Knights Athletic banquet taking home the Top Female Scholastic award, and Tournament Sport Player of the Year.

Lorelle followed up her second season with the Knights winning two of the three OCAA invitational events, and won OCAA gold in the individual competition of the OCAA Championships. Lorelle once again was named an OCAA All-Academic Award and CCAA Academic All-Canadian as well as a CCAA Scholar Athlete. Lorelle also earned her second All-Canadian honour.

In her final season with Niagara, Lorelle captured her second gold OCAA medal and third CCAA All-Canadian award.
