Jim Briggs will be entering his 4^th year as head coach of the Niagara Knights Varsity Golf Team

Currently Chairman of the Investors Group Niagara Bantam Golf Tour.  The Bantam Tour began in 2001 and Jim took over as Chairman in 2006.  The Tour has grown tremendously in popularity in the last 6 years and now has over 60 players registered from all points of the Niagara Peninsula.  The kids are ages 10 to 13 and play 9 events at various Niagara golf courses from late June to August.  Jim’s role as chairman involves planning Tour events, coordinating tee pairings based on individual skill levels and organizing team matches. Players have the opportunity meet other players from the Peninsula, gain a better understanding of the rules, etiquette of the game of golf, and most importantly meet new friends and have fun!

As of 2010, Jim also became Tour Chairman for the Niagara Juvenile Tour. Kids between the ages of 14 to 17 participate in 8 events during the summer. Giving kids an opportunity to improve their game & take to the next level.
