RECAP: Knights ground visiting Humber Hawks in three set victory

The Niagara Knights men's volleyball team (10-2, 1st OCAA West) swept the Humber Hawks (7-4, 5th OCAA West) 3-0 (29-27, 25-13, 25-20) on Wednesday night.

The Knights played a high-tempo game and controlled the match start to finish in their winning effort. On the back of Nathan Snippe (St. Anns) who scored 16 points by way of 11 kills, three service aces and three blocks. Cole Jordan (London) was efficient hitting 47.4% and reaching double digits with nine kills and two blocks. Steve Stone (St. Catharines) also continued his strong play, recording 32 assists.

The Knights will now find themselves in a first place showdown as they visit the Fanshawe Falcons (10-2, 1st OCAA West) on January 23rd for their fourth match in 10 days. The Knights and Falcons are currently tied atop the OCAA West division standings with 10 wins apiece.

Niagara will also travel to Ancaster to take on the Redeemer Royals (8-3, 3rd OCAA West) on January 29th. The Knights will return to the Welland Campus Athletic Centre on February 6th at 8:00 pm for a matchup with the Cambrian Golden Shield (0-11, 10th OCAA West) and February 7th at 3:00 pm against the Boreal Vipères (2-9, 9th OCAA West).
