Tom Peat

Tom Peat was born in St. Catharines and was one of Niagara's most accomplished athletes. He began his exceptional four-year collegiate career in 1983.

Along with teammate Mark Nelson, they were the first to ever win three consecutive CCAA National Badminton titles from 1984-1987.

Among Tom's other accomplishments were four OCAA and West Regional titles from 1983-87, one Western Ontario Junior Championships, three Eastern U.S.A. Junior Doubles Titles and one OFSSA Doubles Championship. He was also a three time Co-Athlete of the Year from 1984-86, three-time All Canadian from 1985-87, an OCAA Athlete of the Week, and he received the Niagara College Award of Excellence.

Tom is one of Niagara's five CCAA All-Canadian Award winners.
