Bob Kraliz

Bob Kraliz of Welland, Ontario, was an outstanding member of the Niagara College Knights Hockey team for the 1971-72 and 1972-73 seasons.

He led the Knights to the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Western Division Championships as well as the OCAA playoffs in 1971-72.

In his two years at Niagara College, Bob amasses 143 points, winning the Western Division scoring title in both years. His honours at Niagara included Freshmen Athlete of the Year, Male Athlete of the Year, team MVP, and Athlete of Distinction.

During his tenure as a hockey knight, Bob was the quarterback of a very prolific Knights power play, an outstanding penalty killer, and an all-round team leader. He was undoubtedly one of the best players ever to don a Knights hockey uniform.

His most memorable moment was deciding to enroll at Niagara College and play hockey for the Knights, in spite of having the opportunity to sign with the Welland Senior A hockey club.
