The Knights and the Eagles have squared off two times since the Eagles joined the OCAA for basketball. On October 25th, 2017 the Knights defeated the Eagles by a score of 77-57 before later defeating them a second time on January 12th, 2018, this time 84-57. The Eagles are undefeated so far on the new season, coming into the matchup with a 4-0 record, sitting in first-place in the OCAA West along with the Sheridan Bruins.

Over the course of their three-game losing streak, the Knights are shooting 21.3% (46-216) and averaging 38.3 points per game.

In her first three games as Niagara Knight (did not play on November 3rd v. Mohawk), Bridget Atkinson (Welland) is averaging 14.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists. Having the 5'7 Guard back in the lineup will be a major boost for the Knights when they take on the Eagles.
