September 20, 2019...Barrie, Ont. - The Niagara College varsity golf team traveled to Heritage Hills golf club in Barrie, Ontario Thursday to open up their 2019 tournament season at the Georgian College Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) invitational.
The team fought hard and earned a 307 team score only seven shots off a podium finish. The Knights were led by captain, Logan Lammarant (5th year, Seaforth) and Chris Hallborg (2nd year, St. Catharines) with scores of 75, which also placed them inside the top 10 on the individual competition.
The Knights golf team will look ahead to Monday September 23rd, when they play host to their own OCAA Invitational at Peninsula Lakes Golf Club.
