Fresh off a 3-0 sweep of the Sheridan Bruins Thursday night in Oakville, the Knights were hoping to carry on their winning ways into their important home match-up with the Saints.
Niagara knew they had their work cut out for them with the Saints sitting at 9-3 in the OCAA West division, and having lost their first meeting with St. Clair 3-1.
Veteran Natasha Desjardins led the Knights with 16 points (16 kills, 7 digs) followed by rookie Hannah Cowie with 12 points (8 kills, 4 service aces.)
With the season starting to wind down, playoff positioning is starting to take shape and the Knights currently find themselves sitting with a 8-5 record for fourth in the West Division.
Niagara will hit the road Wednesday to London to square off against the Fanshawe Falcons (3-9) at 6:00 pm. The Knights will then return home for their final regular season home games February 1st against Humber and February 4th against Mohawk.
