Lorelle Weavers Takes Lead After Day Two

Oct. 8, 2014 – One hundred student-athletes will compete in the 2014 PING CCAA Golf National Championships, which takes place Oct. 14-17 at the Club de Golf Lorette in Quebec, Qc. For the second straight year, the tournament will be hosted by Champlain College St. Lawrence.

Results will be posted daily on CCAA.ca. Updates will also available on Facebook and Twitter.

The CCAA national championship includes three rounds of competitive golf, a skills competition and the CCAA national championship awards banquet, where the 2014 CCAA All-Canadians and 2014 CCAA Golf Coach of the Year will be announced. The CCAA Coach of the Year will receive a personalized ring from Jostens to commemorate their award-winning season.

Golf equipment manufacturer PING Canada is the official title sponsor of the national championships, as well as sponsor of the PING Skills Competition and the PING CCAA Fair Play Award. Male and female golfers will compete as individuals and in teams for CCAA trophies and medals, with individual winners receiving a personalized set of PING clubs. Tournament play will be officiated by Golf Canada.
