Knights Men's Volleyball Team Lose To Mohawk To End First Half Of Season

The Niagara College Knights Men's Volleyball team lost 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-21) to the Mohawk College Mountaineers on Wednesday night in Hamilton.

Justin Scapinello (London, ON) led the Mountaineers in scoring with nine kills, eight aces, and a block for 18 points.

Meanwhile, Yosef Zaid (Windsor, ON) had six kills, one ace, and two blocks for nine points.

The Knights, who were playing with only seven players in the match, ended the first half of the 2011-2012 season with a record of 3-6.

The second half of the season will resume on Wednesday, January 11 when the Knights travel to London to play the Fanshawe College Falcons (6-3). Niagara lost 3-1 to Fanshawe on December 1 in Welland.

Game time is 8:00pm.
