Thursday saw Knights head coach Mike Becarria formally welcome Hamilton guards Kaitlynn Marquard and Cassie Brown to the Niagara College women's basketball program.
Tippett is a native of Port Colborne, and is a member of the Lakeshore Catholic High School Gators and Niagara Falls Red Raiders women’s basketball programs.
March 27th saw the addition of standout local guard Sydney Phillips. Phillips competed for the Governor Simcoe Secondary School Redcoats and is a member of the Niagara JUEL program.
The Niagara College women’s basketball program was eliminated from the OCAA playoffs on Saturday, February 22nd when the team was defeated by the St. Lawrence Vikings by a score of 73-63.

Friday, February 14th saw the Niagara College women’s basketball program lose their final game of the 2013-14 regular season, after suffering a tough 60-47 loss to the visiting Humber Hawks.
The Knights played a pair of weekend games versus Cambrian, and Saturday night saw the team cruise to a 60-39 victory, before earning a hard fought 50-46 victory on Sunday.
