Female Athlete of the Week - Alex Pasco,  Women's Soccer

Alex Pasco (Niagara Falls) has been named this weeks Niagara College Athlete of the Week. Pasco led the Knights women's soccer program to their second consecutive playoff berth, scoring a pair of goals in a 3-0 victory over the UTM Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

Pasco earns her second athlete of the week nod of the season, putting together of the best season's in program history. As a team her two goals against the Eagles helped the Knights secure a playoff berth. On a personal level, Pasco finishes the season with six goals, and nine in her career. Both marks move her into second all-time on the Knights single season goal and career goal lists.

The Knights will now need Pasco to keep her hot foot rolling when they travel to Sudbury to take on the Cambrian Golden Shield in the opening round of the OCAA playoffs next weekend.

Male Athlete of the Week - Keith Makubuya, Men's Soccer

Keith Makubuya (St. Catharines) has been named this week's Niagara College Athlete of the Week. Makubuya scored his fourth goal of the season in a losing effort against the UTM Eagles on Sunday.

The goal was the ninth of Makubuya's Knights career, which ties him for second place all-time on the Knights career goal scoring list. He is tied with Carlos Williams, and only one goal behind Matt Miedema's 10 career strikes.

Makubuya and the Knights currently await their playoff fate pending the outcome of games on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Should they advance to the playoffs, the date and time will be announced on Thursday.
