Ty Rogers Named to OCAA All-Rookie Team

Ty Rogers of the Niagara College men's basketball program has been named to the 2013-14 OCAA All-Rookie team.

Rogers is a six-foot-three native of Mississauga, Ontario, who is currently enrolled in the Niagara College community justice service program.

Rogers brought the Knights athleticism and versatility all season, lining up at both the forward and guard positions.

In 18 games this season, Rogers averaged 12.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. He was one of nine first year players on a Knights' men's basketball roster that finished the season with a 3-15 record.

Rogers and the rest of the Niagara College men's basketball program will wrap up the 2013-14 intercollegiate athletics season on Friday, April 2nd at the 45th annual Niagara College athletic awards banquet.
