The Niagara College men's soccer program will host the Sheridan Bruins at Youngs Sportsplex on Friday, October 4th at 5:00pm.

The Bruins currently sit in a tie for first place in the OCAA West Division and lead all teams with 23 goals scored. The Knights currently sit in fifth place and have allowed the third fewest goals in the OCAA West Division.

With two games remaining this season, a pair of victories could see the Knights finish as high as fourth place and host an OCAA playoff match. While a pair of losses could see the team finish on the outside of the OCAA West Division playoff picture.

The Knights will host the Lambton Lions at 5:00pm on Sunday, October 6th. The Lions currently sit in eighth in the OCAA West. The Lions will be looking to play the role of spoiler, while the Knights will need a victory to secure a birth in the post-season.

The Knights will be looking for the continued strong play of first-year forward Carlos Williams (St. Catharines). Williams, the current Niagara College male athlete of the week, leads the Knights in scoring for four goals on the season.

Additionally, Niagara Falls native Jordan Provenzano has provided outstanding goalkeeping for the Knights all season limiting opposing teams to just nine goals in five matches. Provenzano is in just his first year in the OCAA, and is currently studying Electrical Engineering at Niagara College.

The Niagara College Broadcasting, Radio, Television, and Film department will provide coverage of both matches this weekend, and the games will be uploaded to www.ocaatv.com where they can be viewed in their entirety.
