Knights get back into the winning column

The Knights shook off their two-game skid Wednesday night with a dominant 75-51 win over the Conestoga Condors. The visiting Knights got off to a strong start offensively, scoring 18 points in the quarter. They followed that up with another 22 points in the second quarter with the help of Jason Sache, who scored 10 of Niagara's 22 points in the quarter. The Knights went into the half up 40-25. 

The second half saw the Condors make a strong push that cut the Knights' double-digit lead down to 9 heading into the fourth. The Knights came out gunning to start the fourth quarter while locking down defensively, pouring in 25 points and conceding only 10 points in the quarter. An overall team effort helped the Knights close out the game strong to secure a 75-51 win, snapping a 2-game losing streak to bring their record to 3-3 for the season. 

Leading the Knights were Reggie Williams and Simon Ricketts-Ewan who combined for 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 steals. Jason Sache had a double-double off the bench, with a team-high 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists.  

The Knights look to end their road trip with another win this Sunday, November 19, at 1 PM at the College Drive Gymnasium when they take on the 0-5 Canadore Panthers.
