Knights Men’s Basketball soar to victory over Falcons

The Knights men's basketball team defeated the visiting Fanshawe Falcons 80-61 on Sunday afternoon, bringing their record to 5-4 this season. 

Niagara got off to a fast start on offense to begin the game, with guards Reggie Williams and Adrian Pajor going 3-3 from beyond the arc and combining for 15 of the Knights's 24 points in the opening quarter. The second quarter was evenly contested, with both teams scoring 15 points in the quarter. The Knights headed into halftime leading the Falcons 39-33. 

The second half of the game saw guard Adrian Pajor keep it coming from downtown, going 3-4 from deep in the third quarter to help the Knights win the quarter 25-14 and stretch their 6-point lead to 17 points heading into the final quarter. The Knights would remain composed in the fourth, locking up defensively to hold onto their lead and win comfortably 80-61. 

This latest win sees the Knights record improve to above .500 for the season. The Knights will look to carry this momentum and extend their winning streak this Friday, December 1st, at 8PM at the Niagara College Simplii Financial Athletic Centre, when they take on the visiting St. Clair Saints.
