The Knights also had a very big performance from Nicole Schoonderwoerd (Tavisock, ON). She was playing in middle for the first time this season and did not look out of place. She had 12 kills, two aces, and a block for 15 points, to go along with an incredible 12 digs defensively.

"This was our first step towards achieving one of goals, which was to make it to the Provincials," said head coach Joey Martins.

Niagara will finish off their 2011-2012 regular season on Wednesday when they host the undefeated Humber College Hawks (17-0). The Knights lost 3-1 to the Hawks in the season opener back on November 3 in Etobicoke. Game time Wednesday is 6pm.

The playoff game that the Knights will host will take place on Sunday, February 19 at 1:00pm. Their opponent from the OCAA East will be determined by Thursday, February 16.
